The JF-22 ultra-high-speed wind tunnel being developed by China is the cradle for a new generation of aircraft. It can simulate flying conditions at an altitude of 40 to 100 kilometers with a speed of about 30 times the speed of sound. The tunnel will be completed in 2022.
