Foreign forces in Afghanistan have not sought to extend the August 31 deadline they set for leaving the country, Reuters cited a Taliban official as saying on Monday.

U.S. President Joe Biden last week said the August 31 deadline might have to be extended to allow U.S. troops to stay in Afghanistan to evacuate Americans.
