CGTN

A symposium was held by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles (CFLAC) in Beijing on Tuesday with an aim to improve the professional ethics of literary and art workers in China.

Attendees, including Chinese director Ding Yinnan, actress Zhang Kaili, singer Lei Jia and artist Wu Weishan, exchanged views on overzealous fan culture and misconduct of celebrities that caused nationwide attention over the past months.

They jointly advocated that each individual working in related fields ought to adhere to the law, improve self-discipline, pursue morality and art, and take social responsibility.

Established in 1949, CFLAC is a national organization that comprises associations of writers and artists.
