Banks in Kabul resumed services starting today. However, the banks that opened are only providing cash withdrawal services. An individual can only withdraw a maximum of 17, 000 Afghan Afghani per day, or 200 U.S. dollars. Many showed up quite early in the morning. But the queue is so long that a large number missed out on availing the service.
