-Roughly 13,400 people were airlifted from Afghanistan on Wednesday, raising the total number of those evacuated by the U.S. and coalition partners since August 14 to about 95,700, the White House said on Thursday.

-Canadian forces in Kabul ended their efforts to evacuate citizens and Afghans earlier on Thursday, acting chief of the defense staff General Wayne Eyre said, adding Canada had evacuated around 3,700 Canadian and Afghan citizens.
