At least 28 of the 60 Afghans killed in the attack outside Kabul airport on Thursday were Taliban members, Reuters reported, citing a Taliban official who declined to be identified.
There remains no reason to extend the August 31 deadline for foreign forces to leave Afghanistan, said the official.
