The coral-like short plant became the first to conquer this barren land. It is one of the most salt-tolerant species and spreads out like flames.

About Journeys in Nature: Yancheng series

Located in east China's Jiangsu Province, Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetland is the largest coastal wetland in the world. Abundant food sources and a moderate climate attract various bird species to the area. It is also home to rare animal species like the milu deer, or Pere David's deer, which was once considered extinct in the country.
