China's first self-developed mobile offshore self-installing wellhead oil platform, the Hai Yang Shi You 163, has set sail from Qingdao in east China's Shandong Province on Friday. The most significant difference between the Hai Yang Shi You 163 and other oil rigs is its mobile self-installing wellhead. Comparing with the traditional fixed jacket wellheads, the new design has made the oil rig portable and reusable.
