Kentish plovers are looking for food on the mudflat at sunrise. Despite being as small as a human palm, they are huge and agile compared to their favorite prey.
About Journeys in Nature: Yancheng series
Located in east China's Jiangsu Province, Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetland is the largest coastal wetland in the world. Abundant food sources and a moderate climate attract various bird species to the area. It is also home to rare animal species like the milu deer, or Pere David's deer, which was once considered extinct in the country.
