Chinese teams have claimed final victory in the Suvorov Attack Individual Race of the International Army Games held in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
On August 25, the third round of the Suvorov Attack Individual Race took place at the competition venue in Korla. A three-member Chinese team, including a commander, a gunner and a driver, won the race with 15 minutes 31.43 seconds, followed by teams from Russia and Belarus.
Previously, two rounds of the Individual Race were held on August 23 and 26 at the same venue, with Chinese teams claiming victories in both events.

When the third round of the event was completed, organizers announced the final result of the three competitions. Three teams representing China won the race with a combined total score of 47 minutes 25.72 seconds, breaking a previous record. Russia came second, and Belarus won third place.
Meanwhile, three Chinese team members, Zhang Yang, Tian Zhilong and Li Xiaying, won the titles of the "best commander," "best gunner," and "best driver" of the Suvorov Attack Individual Race.

In Suvorov Attack Individual Race, contestants are required to evade 12 obstacles while driving infantry fighting vehicles at a maximum speed of 75 kilometers per hour.
Each team comprised of three soldiers, and they have to complete two and a half laps. Along 4.3 kilometers closed track, participants have to go through 12 obstacles, like water obstacles, anti-tank barriers and an explosion site, simulating real combat situations.

The race is a test requiring keen observation, high-speed driving and rapid firing at targets.
In this year's event, the Russian team used the self-developed BMP-3 model, while the other three employ the China-made Type 86A.
As the last stage of the Suvorov Attack contest this year, a Relay Race will be held on September 3.
