Pentagon on Monday announced the completion of U.S.'s troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. "I'm here to announce the completion of our withdrawal from Afghanistan," said Commander of U.S. Central Command Kenneth McKenzie via video conference.

Shortly after, celebratory gunshots were heard near Kabul airport. According to China Media Group (CMG) reporter based in Kabul, local media confirmed that the Taliban fired shots to celebrate the withdrawal of U.S. troops and the end of the 20-year war in Afghanistan.
