How Buddhism Came To China

If one were to retrace the footsteps of Buddhism in China, they would find themselves along the Silk Road, and perhaps in one of the key places of worship – the Yungang Grottoes. But this UNESCO world heritage site is not just significant as a religious site, it's known for its art – sculptures and paintings with influences from Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome and India, an example of how East meets West.
