CGTN

Some fire-breasted flowerpeckers were photographed feeding on tree seeds in central China's Hubei Province.

The males are distinguished by a bright red patch on their breast, while females are dark olive and buff.

Flowerpeckers are a family of 48 small bird species that feed on nectar, seeds and small insects. They are distributed through tropical southern Asia and Australia.
