Kathrin was intrigued by Xiang Yun Sha the moment she saw it in Paris in 1995. She came to China in 2000 to find the fabric, and has been designing clothes using this particular material since then. She and her Chinese husband opened a store in Beijing's Qianmen area. Having studied and worked in the Paris' fashion scene for eight years, Kathrin has injected the haute couture spirit into her designs of these special silk garments.
