South Africa extends state of disaster to Oct. 15

South Africa has extended a national state of disaster by another month to October 15 as the country could face the fourth wave of COVID-19 in November, local media said on Thursday. 

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa first announced the state of disaster in March last year as a move to curb the spread of COVID-19.
