China-U.S. climate talks: China to launch "1+N" policy system for peak emissions, carbon-neutral goals

U.S. climate change envoy John Kerry has wrapped up talks with his Chinese counterpart Xie Zhenhua in the city of Tianjin. The two discussed policies and actions on climate change. China said it has set up a leading group to achieve its goals of peaking carbon dioxide emissions by 2030 and achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. Guan Dabo, professor in climate change economics at Tsinghua University, shared with CGTN his views on China's "1+N" policy system for peak emissions and carbon-neutral goals.
