Many U.S. states suffered heavy rainfall, tornadoes, floods and other disasters from bad weather associated with Hurricane Ida in recent days. Eight states include New York, New Jersey, Louisiana, Pennsylvania in the east and Colorado in the west.
As of September 4, more than 63 deaths in eight states have been linked to the devastating storm.
The U.S President Joe Biden visited Louisiana, where more than 820,000 households are still without power. Biden said that the hurricane reminded the United States that it has to speed up infrastructure construction.
