The Shanghai Conservatory of Music is staging a "Red Army Long March Songs" concert as part of the CPC centenary celebration. The show has toured sites along the Long March route. The troops were primarily poor young peasants. They trekked over mountains, crossed rivers, endured hunger and dodged the Kuomintang to reach Yan'an. The Long March lasted two years and covered a distance of about 12,500 kilometers. #TheCPCWay#
