Clouds and mist cover the wooded and mountainous Qinglan Township, northwest China's Gansu Province creating beautiful scenery in early autumn.

The Qinglan Township is an arid area. In recent years, with the continuous efforts made in the policy of returning farmland to forest and afforestation of barren hills, the ecological environment has improved significantly.
