The comprehensive exhibition of the 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) is underway at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, which features achievements in the service sector from many countries and regions around the world.

At the entrance, four immersive digital "gardens" showcase China's development in services in the digital age, including technological advancements in products and services related to COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. A nature monitoring artificial intelligent system, a model of a Boston subway train developed by China and an interactive system depicting the "Digital Forbidden City" are among the other tech-based service-related advancements on display at the "gardens."

Epson brought the world's first water-free paper-recycling system to CIFTIS. It can turn normal office-printed documents into a new type of recycled paper in three steps – defibrating, binding and forming.

Unlike the traditional paper-making process, no water is consumed in the system.

Documents to be recycled are transformed into fibers during the process, meaning all the information print on the original paper can be removed.

Yuan Yishi, marketing director of QI-ANXIN, told CGTN there are three main challenges to ensure the network safety at the 2022 games.

"There are more than 60 stadiums and tens of thousands of core business systems," Yuan said, adding that there are nearly a million operational staff involved.

"Each one of them could become a weak point of network security," he said.

Once a system is under attack, the security system will alert in real-time, and the company will use different security strategies to handle different alarms.
