China and Indonesia have jointly announced the official launch of a currency settlement cooperation framework starting from Monday, Chinese central bank said on its website (link in Chinese).

The framework was signed between the People's Bank of China and Bank Indonesia on September 30, 2020. It is a milestone in deepening monetary and financial cooperation between the central banks of the two countries.
