In an exclusive interview with CGTN on September 4, Ahmadullah Wasiq, deputy head of the Taliban's cultural commission, gave his take on what's happening in Panjshir.

He said operations were moving slowly to ensure the safety of civilians and that government buildings and private homes are not damaged, adding that the province will come under Taliban rule "very soon."
