A week after Hurricane Ida made landfall in the U.S., the death toll continues to rise. At least 68 people have reportedly died. Many in the Northeast are holding out hope for those missing in floodwaters. In Louisiana, more than half a million people are still without power, and it could be weeks before the power supply is fully restored.
