China has announced a new plan to expand one of its flagship economic areas in the south, the Greater Bay Area. It will drastically expand the Qianhai zone in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province to boost cooperation with Hong Kong by encouraging more investment, trade and currency exchange.
