The media registration platform for the fourth China International Import Expo (CIIE) opens on Tuesday, according to the CIIE website.

Media and journalists can register from September 7 to October 15 on CIIE's official website, WeChat account or mini program, and official app.

The fourth CIIE, scheduled from November 5 to 10 in Shanghai, is expected to see the participation of more Fortune 500 companies and corporate giants than the previous edition, according to its organizers.

Some 360,000 square meters of the exhibition area have been booked, and more than 50 countries have confirmed participation in the expo, according to a press conference in July.
