Having once disappeared from its homeland for nearly 100 years, the legendary Milu deer have not only returned but have also increased from dozens to thousands.

About 'Journeys in Nature': Yancheng series

Located in east China's Jiangsu Province, Yancheng Yellow Sea Wetland is the largest coastal wetland in the world. Abundant food sources and a moderate climate attract various bird species to the area. It is also home to rare animal species like the milu deer, or Pere David's deer, which was once considered extinct in the country.
