Yangzhou City in east China's Jiangsu Province cleared all medium and high-risk areas for COVID-19 starting Thursday, the local government announced on Wednesday night.
The city has witnessed the country's latest resurgence of COVID-19 infections attributable to the Delta variant since late July, with a total of 570 local confirmed cases.
