Georgia's Ambassador to China, Archil Kalandia, said his country has seen tremendous growth opportunities since signing up with the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and is betting big on the Initiative. The ambassador made the comments during a CGTN interviewed at the 8th China Inbound-Outbound Forum 2021 on September 4, a part of the annual 2021 China International Fair for Trade in Services.

The ambassador also voiced steadfast support for the BRI and detailed a coming action plan with China. He said the BRI cooperation not only weathered the pandemic, but China and Georgia's growth under the Initiative grew stronger in 2020.
