After going completely virtual last year, the Singapore Vegan Festival returned to the city-state in a hybrid format, with a mix of physical and virtual events. Being held under the umbrella of the Singapore Food Festival, it aims to create awareness around veganism. The organizers say that while planning the event during a pandemic was challenging, it has also helped them bring together experts from across the world to talk about their fields of knowledge, which would not have been possible in an otherwise wholly physical festival.
