Chinese archaeologists on Thursday unveiled new major discoveries from six newly found sacrificial pits at the Sanxingdui Ruins site in southwest China's Sichuan Province, most of which were from pits No. 3, No. 4, No. 7, and No. 8. Among them was the largest bronze altar of the Sanxingdui Ruins site discovered to date, which was very likely to be another new national treasure.
