Taliban spokesperson promises to bring women into government

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid has promised that women will be brought into the Afghanistan government, France's BFM TV reported on Thursday.

"This government is temporary," he is quoted as saying in reference to the interim cabinet announced earlier this week. "We will have positions for women."
