Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will resume commercial flights to Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, starting from September 13, the airline said on Saturday.

Permission to land at Kabul airport has been granted by Afghanistan's Civil Aviation Authority, according to PIA.

It will be the first foreign commercial airline to resume operations since the Taliban seized power last month.
