Typhoon Conson death toll rises to 17 in Philippines

Seventeen people have died and seven others are missing due to the passage of Typhoon Conson over the Philippines, a government agency said on Sunday.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Conson has affected nearly 310,000 people in the country as of Sunday.
