The Democratic People's Republic of Korea test-fired what it calls a new type of long-range cruise missile over the weekend. The state news agency KCNA says the launches were successful, and senior officials observed the event. The launches came just days after a military parade in Pyongyang to mark the country's 73rd founding anniversary. Earlier, CGTN's Roee Ruttenberg talked to current affairs commentator Einar Tangen. They discussed the timing of the tests.
