When Patrick Mahomes (#15) and the Kansas City Chiefs' defensive line began to show dominance, it's simply too late for the Browns. Mahomes passed 337 yards and three TDs for the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, on Sunday. Nick Bosa (#97) of the San Francisco 49ers made Jarred Goff realize that things may be any easier even if Goff moved to the Detroit Lions. This was probably the most chaotic game on Sunday. The Los Angeles Chargers and the Washington Football team together contributed 14 fouls, 141 of penalty yards and three turnovers at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, on Sunday. Washington not only lost their season opener, but also the team's starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick due to injury in the second quarter. /CFP

Twenty-four-year-old Kyler Murray made great contributions to the Arizona Cardinals' big win over the Tennessee Titans by passing five TDs at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on Sunday. But Murray's teammate Chandler Jones (#55) was the same incredible getting five sacks, three of which happened in the first quarter. Jones also forced two fumbles by the Titans which led to 14 points scored by the Cardinals. The first game of the season did not start well for the Titans' QB Ryan Tannehill (#17). /CFP

As the first-overall selection of this year's NFL Draft, Trevor Lawrence (#16) of the Jacksonville Jaguars passed 332 yards and three TDs in his debut game. It was excellent performance but not good enough to help the Jaguars win the game at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on Sunday. Neither did not cover the fact that Lawrence allowed three interceptions. /CFP

The 57-yard pass from Sam Darnold of the Carolina Panthers to Robby Anderson (#11) in the second quarter at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday was exciting enough for home fans. But they must be even happier to watch Christian McCaffrey return from injury that cost him 13 games last season and complete 30 catches to drive for 187 yards. /CFP

It takes time for the Pittsburgh Steelers to figure it out how their offense should work with such a new format. So, the defensive group will play the key role in their games. That's exactly what T.J. (#90) Watt and his buddies did against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York on Sunday. The Los Angeles Rams invested heavily landing Matthew Stafford (#9) from the Lions and the 33-year-old responded to the Rams' trust with a perfect season opener at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Sunday. He completed 20 of 26 passes, throwing 321 yards and three TDs. Stafford's choice-making and long pass ability are exactly what the Rams need. /CFP
