85 test positive for COVID-19 in latest virus surge in Putian

A total of 85 people have so far tested positive for COVID-19 in Putian City in the recent outbreak of the disease in southeast China's Fujian Province, local authorities said on Tuesday.

Of the total cases, 64 are confirmed and 21 asymptomatic. In addition, 30 of the cases are children under the age of 10.
