A delegation from the West African bloc ECOWAS met with coup leaders in Guinea and said mediators have seen the deposed president Alpha Conde, who is in good health. Last week, ECOWAS suspended Guinea's membership in the 15-member bloc but did not impose further sanctions. ECOWAS consultant Ken Ife said the bloc may send multiple delegations to negotiate with Guinea's coup leaders.
