The 24th China Fishing Season Festival starts in the coastal county of Xiangshan in Ningbo City, East China's Zhejiang Province. Based on the rich fishing culture, local people have paid their respects to the ocean by holding the festivals over the last two decades. The festival marks the end of a four-and-a-half-month fishing ban and the start of a new fishing season. The grand start features more than 1,000 fishing vessels setting off from the harbor toward the vast ocean.
