The Chinese mainland recorded 66 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, including 43 locally-transmitted cases, all in southeastern Fujian Province, the latest data from the National Health Commission showed on Sunday.

In addition, 19 new asymptomatic cases were recorded, while 365 asymptomatic patients remain under medical observation.

This brings the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the Chinese mainland to 95,689, with the death toll remaining at 4,636.

The total number of confirmed cases in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan region are as follows:

Hong Kong: 12,157 (11,869 recoveries, 213 deaths)

Macao: 63 (63 recoveries)

Taiwan: 16,129 (13,742 recoveries, 839 deaths)
