China's National Health Commission (NHC) has sent a team to guide the coronavirus epidemic control work in Harbin City, capital of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, after it reported three confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday. 

The local officials have urged residents not to leave the city, closed public venues, suspended large activities and rolled out nucleic acid tests.

Cinemas, massage parlors, gyms, clinics and religious places suspended operations on Tuesday.
