The acting prime minister of the Taliban Interim Government has met with the head of the World Health Organization (WHO). They discussed health issues facing Afghanistan on September 20 in Kabul. WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said the organization will continue supporting Afghanistan's health system to prevent the country from sliding into a humanitarian disaster. He added that WHO will bring its staff back into the country and do its best to increase donations.
