China calls on all countries to establish a sound legal framework to combat racism, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Wednesday.

Wang made the remarks via a video link to a high-level UN General Assembly meeting to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the adoption of the Durban Declaration and Program of Action, which established a comprehensive international framework for fighting discrimination and intolerance.
