Chinese Ambassador to the United States Qin Gang said the biggest commonality between the two countries is that both the Chinese people and the American people desire peace and prosperity. He said leaders in Beijing and Washington have the common goal of creating peaceful and stable conditions for their peoples to pursue happiness. Qin was speaking at an event jointly organized by the Carter Center and the George H.W. Bush Foundation on Wednesday.
