Hundreds of Haitians are seeking asylum in Mexico. A U.S. effort to expel Haitians on flights and worsening conditions at a makeshift camp under a bridge on the U.S.-Mexico border are forcing some Haitian migrants transiting through Mexico to petition for legal status there. But some still have their hopes up.
