Red Cross on China's vaccine contribution to the world
World Insight with Tian Wei
At the ongoing United Nations General Assembly, China has pledged to provide 2 billion doses of vaccines by the end of the year. The country will also donate more vaccines to developing countries, which have lagged behind developed countries in access to vaccines. On the sidelines of UNGA, CGTN host Tian Wei talked to Peter Maurer, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross. He recognised China's vaccine contribution together with other countries.
