After nearly three years of detention in Canada, Huawei Technologies' CFO Meng Wanzhou left the country on September 24 local time. She is flying back to China on a chartered flight arranged by the Chinese government and is expected to arrive in Shenzhen Saturday night Beijing time. 

CGTN invited Andy Mok, a senior research fellow at the Center for China and Globalization, to share his insights on Meng's extradition case.

"It is certainly a victory, and it's good to see that justice was served in this incident," he said.
