Meng Wanzhou, chief financial officer of Huawei, on September 24 expressed gratitude to China and the Chinese people for their help and support, after she left a courtroom in Vancouver, Canada.

Meng made the statement in front of a crowd outside the courtroom chanting, "Wanzhou is innocent! Welcome home! Have a safe trip!"
