Eric Chu Li-luan elected Kuomintang chairman

In Taiwan, the Kuomintang Party has voted on a new chairman. It's Eric Chu Li-luan, with about 46 percent of the votes. About 370,000 KMT party members were eligible to vote, and a little over half cast their ballots. In his victory speech, Chu vowed to step up communication with the Chinese mainland.
