China's digital economy reaches 6 trillion U.S. dollar in 2020, accounting over one-third of GDP

China's digital economy saw a 10% growth on a yearly basis to over 39 trillion yuan or about 6 trillion U.S. dollars in 2020. The figure accounts for over one-third of the country's total GDP, according to the latest report on the development of the internet in China, released at the World Internet Conference in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province.
