China's State Council Information Office will release a white paper titled "China's Epic Journey from Poverty to Prosperity" at 10 a.m. Tuesday, following which a press conference will be held. 

Building a moderately prosperous society in all respects is one of China's centenary goals. On July 1, Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the realization of this goal, marking a key milestone for the world's most populous country on its journey towards national rejuvenation.

Achieving moderate prosperity, or Xiaokang in Chinese, is measured in consideration of multiple aspects, such as economy, democracy, science, education, culture, society and people's well-being. The requirements included doubling the country's 2010 GDP and per capita disposable income by 2020.
